To get the conversation practice you need, we recommend that you get an online tutor from sites like iTalki, Tandem, HelloTalk, Preply, Amikumu

• Choose the "community tutor" option (and not the "teacher" option). You do not need instruction; you just need some conversation practice. A Mandarin community tutor costs about US$8/hour.
• Alternatively, you can use the same services to arrange free language exchanges (e.g. they talk half an hour of Chinese to you, you talk half an hour of English to them.) Wikipedia article on language exchanges

You can also send your writing to your tutor and get corrections.

We recommend that you do at least one hour of online tutoring for each unit of this course.
