Chinese Zero to Hero follows the HSK Standard Course textbook.

To pass HSK 5, you need to put in about 1,100 hours of study time.

There are 36 lessons in this course. For each lesson, we recommend the following time commitment:

• 2 hours watching the video lesson and studying the textbook material
• 2 hours completing the exercises in the workbook
• 16 hours on comprehensible input:
  This includes reading books and articles, watching movies and shows, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, and speaking with your tutor or Chinese-speaking friends. (if you need help with finding resources, simple reach out to us and we can help out!)

Additionally, everyday, spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes reviewing. For best results, we suggest that you review what you studied the day before, 3 days ago, and 7 days ago.
